The many hours of student teaching practice was a very rewarding experience for me and the learners of Spanish in Barnsley, and the overall positive feedback received from students, many of whom claimed that they had learned a great deal from the venture within such a short space of time, was extremely uplifting.  Moreover, only three of the 100 or so students taught during teaching practice discontinued their studies.

Each of the formal observations carried out by three members of teaching staff during the period for which the training lasted offered praise for the degree of organisation and thorough planning for learning which was evident in their eyes. The feedback comments were very promising and offered an incentive for further professional development and to enhance the number of inventive strategies which could be implemented into future teaching experiences.
